Part 1 Done!

Between filling orders, chasing kids, petting little bunnies who can now see me because their eyes are open, and feeding unbelievably hungry livestock, I finished painting the cabinets.  Behold!

We went from this:

To this:

Holy transformation, Batman!

  1. I would love to try this! Was is super hard? Did you have to sand every bit of it? You are so awesome! It is like you are a pro at everything you try. As for me - I have the learning curve to contend with. Good job!!

  2. Wonderful difference.I love how everything is lightened up with the white cabinetry...
I think the white paint makes the green look more cheerful! I like it. Pat

  3. Beautiful! A job well done :) It is much brighter! I wonder if we could do this to our kitchen, or if it would clash with the log walls too much.... Hmmmm..... You are a much better interior designer than I am!

  4. OOOOOooooo looking good! It looks like it will be lighter in there now! Can't wait to see the back splash.
Thanks for following me over to the new old blog!

  5. Michaele--It wasn't super hard, no. You can buy kits at Home Depot for cabinet refacing (Krylon), but they are expensive. This is just good primer that cured well and then leftover trim paint. I've done this before, so I know it will hold well. Thank you so much for all the compliments!

Pat--I agree. It's like a breath of fresh air now.

Mandi--Thanks so much! Log walls are tough to contend with, definitely. Whatever you decide, I know it will be lovely.

Sweetland--It's much lighter, yes. Thank you!!

I always love to hear from you. Thank you for leaving your comment here!
